AFH Wealth Management has purchased two further Birmingham based IFA practices bringing the total number of acquisitions to thirteen.

Judy Ward Financial Services Limited previously with offices in Edgbaston, and Wheatcroft Fox & Co. of Newhall Street have both completed the transfer of their clients to AFH. As part of the transition, all clients have been written to, explaining their decision to transfer to AFH. Commenting on her decision, Judy Ward said “joining the AFH team will allow me to spend more time with my clients and enable me to offer them additional services via the AFH in-house Discretionary Management Service.” Along with acquiring Judy Ward as a Senior Adviser, AFH have received 3,000 clients and two full time administrators.

Towards the end of last year, AFH purchased the IFA division of the West Bromwich Building Society and Edgbaston based IFA, Bell Chambers. The firm, who offer Independent Financial Advice, now have 47 midlands based IFA’s and a team of in-house investment and technical experts. AFH recently launched a stock broking service which is unheard of for a local IFA practice.

Alan Hudson, Managing Director of the AFH Group said, “I am delighted that Judy has decided to join us. She is highly regarded in the local IFA community and brings with her a wealth of experience. We will continue to speak to local IFAs who are interested in joining our team and are focused on constantly improving our service offering for the benefit of our clients.”

AFH are constantly looking for like minded individuals to join our expanding team. They also offer an exit strategy for IFAs looking to retire out of the industry and are interested in speaking to anyone who may be interested.
