AFH acquires Rosa Lodge Finanical Management

Bromsgrove based AFH Wealth Management, has announced the acquisition of a further Birmingham based IFA practice.

Contracts were signed last month month with Rod Shakespeare of Rosa Lodge Financial Management Limited who has now retired from the industry. As part of the acquisition, AFH have acquired 75 HNW clients and around £30m of funds under management.

Established in 2001, Rosa Lodge, formerly of Oldbury West Midlands, was part of the Lighthouse Network.

Commenting on his decision to sell his client bank, Rod Shakespeare said “I have been speaking with AFH for almost a year, it was a difficult decision as I have some long established relationships.   It was therefore extremely important to find the right home for my clients and feel comfortable that they were going to continue to receive first class financial advice. I am satisfied that Alan Hudson and his team can provide this.”

This is the third acquisition this year for AFH and takes the total number of acquisitions to 16. Towards the end of last year, AFH purchased the IFA division of the West Bromwich Building Society and Edgbaston based IFA practices, Bell Chambers and Judy Ward Financial Services

The firm, who offer Independent Financial Advice, now have 50 midlands based IFA’s and a team of in-house investment and technical experts.

AFH are constantly looking for like-minded individuals to join their expanding team. They also offer an exit strategy for IFAs looking to retire out of the industry and are interested in speaking to anyone who may be interested. For further information please click here.
