How We Work

At AFH we only advise clients who are interested in developing a long-term relationship with us. Our clients become our friends and that is the way we like to work as our emphasis is on service and not the one off sale of a financial product. We therefore don’t offer an execution only or discount broker service.

Following an initial enquiry we will either invite you to our offices or give you the choice of a preliminary meeting at your home or office. The purpose of the meeting is firstly to establish whether we are able to assist with your needs and objectives and secondly to discuss how we would be paid for our services if we are instructed to proceed. There isn’t a charge for this preliminary meeting, nor is there any obligation on either side.

Only after fully completing a financial review will we develop a plan and put forward our financial recommendations. We will then search the whole of the market for the most appropriate products to meet your requirements. In almost all cases we are able to make arrangements that you would be unable to make for yourself. All of our proposals will be fully explained with transparent fees you can understand.

The AFH Group has other specialist companies and professionals who, with prior agreement, may be introduced to our clients to ensure a coherent strategy.
